We live in times of economic hardship where creating a family budget and pulling on extra tight to the family's purse strings are very much a reality for most people and as a result more and more people are finding themselves cutting, clipping or printing out grocery coupons and/or shop-a-dockets in order to help them make ends meet.

So what exactly are Grocery Coupons?

They are simply a method of advertising a discounted product which a retailer wishes to sell at a reduced rate and in doing so they promote their business, retail store and/or website.

Retailer Coupons

Exactly the same as the above-mentioned Manufacturers coupon except that it is carried out by the Retailer.

The Manufacturer of the product usually offers an advertising allowance to the Retailer to cover the expense of advertising and mailing out.

Online Printable Coupons

One thing that you can almost guarantee is that the price of groceries will continue to increase and a dollar or more saved where you can is a god-send for a lot of folk worldwide.

To be a successful grocery coupon cutter/clipper you simply need to be organized before you hit the shops and waste your time and the money that you are trying to save.
